- Rwandans looking to visit Guyana for tourism purposes can apply for this visa.
- The Guyana tourist visa is a single-entry visa, it is valid for 30 days.
- If you wish to extend your stay, you must contact the Ministry of Home Affairs in Georgetown before your current visa expires. A maximum of two extension of stay are allowed for one month each.
- Visitors are required to leave the country once their stay expires. Penalties for overstaying are severe, you could be faced with a large fine or even imprisonment.
- If you are traveling for the purpose of exploration, you'll need to have a guide and appropriate vehicle provided by a local agency.
