On entry into the country, travelers must declare any amount of $10,000 or its equivalent. Travelers must also declare any amount over $10,000 or its equivalent on exit from the country. There are strict regulations on the import of items such as vehicles, medications, firearms, and business equipment. Stay clear of drug trafficking and drug use.

Honduras Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A fully completed and signed visa application form.
  • Two recently taken photos must be attached. Both photos must be taken within the last three months
  • A passport, valid, for at least three more months beyond the date you plan to leave
  • Round trip reservation or itinerary including dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit
  • A travel insurance policy that proves you have travel health insurance
  • Proof of accommodation that shows where you will be accommodated throughout your stay in Honduras. This could be a hotel booking, a rental agreement, or a letter of invitation from a host at whose house you will be staying.
  • Proof of financial means that states you have enough money to support yourself financially during your Business. This can be one of the following -Bank account statement that shows you have enough money in your account for the trip. The statement should not be older than 3 months.
  • Sponsorship Letter by another person that confirms they will be financially supporting your trip. In order for this letter to be valid, it must be accompanied by a bank statement of the sponsor, no older than three months.
  • A combination of your bank account statement and a letter of sponsorship.
  • Proof of paid visa fee
  • A short profile of the applicants working place.
  • A business letter from your employer written on the company's letterhead and stating your position in the company, the purpose of your travel and how long you intend to spend in (destination country). The letter should also state awareness and allowance of leave.
  • Invitation letter written by the partner company. This letter has to appear as an invitation to attend meetings or other relevant events matching trade, industry or work
