Basic Travel Requirements for Rwandans visiting Lebanon

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lebanese Visa.

  • A visa application form that is filled and signed.
  • A passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Lebanon.
  • The passport must have at least two pages for visa stamp.
  •  If your passport does not meet this requirement, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one prior to applying for your visa.
  • Photocopies of passport pages containing the full name, date issued and expiry date, and photo of the applicant.
  • One passport photograph.
  • A notarized parental consent from both parents is required for minor applicants.
  • Minors should also provide a copy of the birth certificate and parent’s ID.
  • Receipt showing proof of payment made to the Embassy of Lebanon.
  • Lebanon visas are not extendable.
  • Lebanon visa fee is only paid once and it is not refundable.
  • Processing time for Lebanon visa is 3 to 5 working days.
  • Travel ticket showing entry and exit date from Lebanon.
  •  Applicant’s visa will be refused if the passport contains any Israeli stamps or visas. 
  • Bank statement of last three months showing a balance of at least USD 9000 is required.
  • The applicant can also provide a proof of sufficient funds to cover the round trip to Lebanon, duration of stay an all other expenses if the bank statement is not available.

Lebanon Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • One visa application form completely filled and signed.
  • Applicant’s passport should be valid for 6 months from the date of return from Lebanon.
  • Passport should have at least two blank pages for entry and exit visa stamp.
  • 1 recent passport photograph that is taken with the last 6 months displaying a non-smiling expression.
  • Flight ticket for return of applicant’s journey is mandatory.
  • Applicants are required to provide photocopies of important documents.
  • A copy of the applicant’s flight ticket is a mandatory Lebanon visa requirement.
  • Letter of invitation from inviting company in Lebanon stating the purpose of stay and duration of stay. the letter should also indicate who will be responsible for applicants financial expenses. 
  • The letter must include contact information such as company address and phone number of the company in Lebanon.
  • The letter must be approved by the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
  • Business letter from applicant’s Rwanda based country stating they are aware of the applicant’s leave is required. The letter should also indicate contact information of the company in Rwanda.
  • Copy of confirmed itinerary showing date of arrival and departure.

Lebanon Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Completely filled and signed Lebanon visa application form.
  • Incomplete or unsigned applications will delay the application process.
  • Rwandan passport must be valid and contain sufficient blank visa pages for visa stamps. 
  • Amendment pages in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa stamp.
  • Recent passport photograph within the last six months taken against a white background.
  • The passport photographs must display neutral expression and must face the camera.
  • You must provide a copy of your round trip airline confirmation indicating the dates of entry and exit from the country you intend to visit.
  • Confirmation of hotel accommodation or local address is required.
  • If staying with friends or family, you must provide their local address and telephone number.
  • Child under age 18 must submit a letter of consent from both parents and a copy of the birth certificate.
  • Letter of invitation from the host in Lebanon indicating details of applicant’s travel plans, purpose of visit, dates of arrival and departure from Lebanon. 
  • Applicants also need to attach a detailed travel itinerary along with the covering letter.
