How to get a Mongolia visa from Rwanda

• Mongolia Tourist Visa is issued to Rwandan citizens who intend to visit Mongolia for recreation, relaxation and tourism purposes.
• The tourist visa only accommodates short stay visits.
• The duration of stay in Mongolia for Rwandans with a tourist visa is 30 days. But the validity of the tourist visa is 90 days.
• This visa can be extended for up to 30 days once in a six-month period.

• Rwandans who apply for this visa intend to visit Mongolia for the purpose of media reporting.
• This visa can be extended for 30 days. The extension can only be granted in a six-month interval, meaning you can only apply for extension after six months of stay.
• An invitation letter from the media company you will be working with in Mongolia is required. The letter should clearly state the duration and purpose of your visit.
• A valid means of identification of applicant is required. For example your journalist identity card.
• This visa does not allow applicants to take up permanent residence in the country.
• To avoid longer processing time, travelers are obliged to start their application well in advance.
