  • Rwanda citizens travelling to Zambia are given visa on arrival with an option to apply for an electronic visa for a period of 90 days.
  • Should you choose to obtain your visa upon arrival, you will need to inquire with your airline if boarding is allowed without a visa.
  • Visitors are required to provide a passport that is valid for the duration of stay in the country.
  • At least three pages of visitors’ passport should be left blank for Zambia entry stamps.
  • A Yellow Fever certificate of Vaccination will be requested at the port of entry into Zambia.
  • The import of poultry and related products is prohibited.
  • It is illegal to export game meat in any form: dried, processed, or raw.
  • Pets are allowed to enter Zambia but cats and dogs must be accompanied by an official certificate of veterinary health that is issued in the home country as well as an import permit.
  • All travellers entering or departing from Zambia must declare all currency notes of more than USD 5,000 or its equivalent.
