Basic Travel Requirements for Senegaleses visiting Lebanon

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lebanese Visa.


  • A visa application form that is filled and signed by the applicant is required.
  • A passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Lebanon.
  • The passport must have at least two pages for the Lebanon visa stamp.
  •  If the passport does not meet this requirement, the applicant must renew or obtain a new one prior to applying for the Lebanon visa.
  • Photocopies of passport pages containing the full name, date issued and expiry date, and photo of the applicant.
  • One recent passport photograph taken against a white background is required.
  • A notarized parental consent from both parents is required for minor applicants.
  • Minors should also provide a copy of the birth certificate and parent’s ID.
  • Receipt showing proof of payment made to the Embassy of Lebanon.
  • Lebanon visas are not extendable and the applicant must overstay the required period in Lebanon.
  • Lebanon visa fee is only paid once and it is not refundable.
  • Processing time for Lebanon visa is 15 working days.
  • Travel ticket showing entry and exit date from Lebanon.
  •  The applicant’s visa will be refused if the passport contains any Israeli stamps or visas. 
  • Bank statement of last three months showing a balance of at least USD 9000 is required.
  • The applicant can also provide proof of sufficient funds to cover the round trip to Lebanon, duration of stay, and all other expenses if the bank statement is not available.
