Application requirements

Documents Seychellois applicants need to provide.

  • Mali visa application form.
  • Original, signed Seychelles passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  • Passport Photo: 2 Include a passport-style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print.
  • A reservation of the flight itinerary under the traveler's name. Must show flights entering and exiting Mali.
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination. A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever.
  • Letter of Invitation. If staying with friends or family, a letter of invitation from the host in Mali can be used instead of the hotel reservation. The letter should be addressed to the Embassy of Mali, Visa Section and should state the relationship to the applicant, the dates of the visit, and the address and phone number where you will be staying.
  • Travel itinerary.
  • Proof of financial capability.
  • Bank statement for the last three months.

Business visa

  • Business travelers traveling to engage in one business activity or the other are the eligible applicants of this visa.
  • During business meetings with partner companies, you are allowed to negotiate terms of a business contract and also sign them.
  • You are permitted to attend trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to your profession.
  • An official invitation letter from the inviting company, printed on the company’s letterhead is required. The letter must state the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the applicant’s visit.
  • Proof of previous trade relations between the two companies should be provided if any.
  • You are required to be in possession of the International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever.
  • Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Seychelles should be provided. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and length of the applicant’s employment.

Tourist visa

  • Mali tourist visa is a short-stay visa that is issued to foreign nationals who intend to travel to mali and stay for not more than 90 days.
  • Seychellois travelling to Mali for tourism, vacation or other leisure activities are eligible to apply for this visa.
  • You are required to submit a signed and completed visa application form. Incomplete application forms may delay the processing of your visa request.
  • Your Seychellois passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date you plan to leave Mali and have no less than 1 blank passport page for your visa.
  • You should also make a photocopy of your passport bio-data page (that is, the first page of your passport).
  • As proof that you intend to return to your country of origin once your visa expires, you are required to submit a copy of your roundtrip ticket booking.
  • You must as well submit a copy of your hotel booking with information about the accommodation (such as the name of the hotel, contact details) and how long you are booked to lodge there.
  • Proof that you can cater for your financial needs through out your stay in Seychelles.
  • You are also required to provide proof of your employment status.
  • If you are employed, you should provide a letter from your employer stating the date you were employed, your role in the company and acknowledging your leave from work.
  • If you are self-employed, a copy of business license, the company’s most recent bank statement and your income tax return should be provided.
  • Minors (under 18) should submit a copy of their birth certificate and a letter of consent from their parents permitting them to travel to Mali.
  • You should present a copy of your travel medical insurance covering the entire duration of your stay in Mali.
  • If you are travelling as a group for tourism, you should submit a notarized photocopy of the license of Mali Tourism Agency inviting your group.
