Thailand Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Seychellois who intend to travel to Thailand to conduct business or work in Thailand are eligible to obtain the business visa.
- This visa is also known as a non-immigrant visa.
- An original passport that has at least 2 unused pages which is valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the date you intend to leave Thailand.
- 2 passport-size photographs taken on a white background within the last 6 months are to submitted along with the application form.
- An official note issued by a partner company in Thailand (or your employer if you are travelling to work) certifying the purpose of your travel.
- A business letter from your employer confirming the purpose of your travel and how long you intend to spend in Thailand is to be provided.
- Your employment contract stating your role in the company, your salary and your qualifications must be signed an authorized managing director and affixed the seal of the company.
- If you have previously worked in Thailand, you are to include a copy of the work permit issued to you by the Ministry of Labour.
- A copy of your educational records and letters of recommendation from the prior employers, identifying the job description and length of service time if you intend to work in Thailand is to presented during the visa processing.
- You must provide a printed copy of your return flight ticket as proof that you intend to return to your country of origin once your visa expires.
- A proof of accommodation whether with a host or at a hotel.
- A copy of your most recent bank statements must be submitted as proof that you can cater to all your needs for the entire duration of your stay in Thailand. If your employer will be covering your expenses for the duration of your stay, you should provide a letter of guarantee from your employer to that effect.
- The Thailand business visa is a single-entry visa that is valid for 90 days. You can, however, apply for a multiple-entry visa that is valid for a year.
- If you are applying for a multiple-entry visa, your passport must be valid for at least 18 months

- Copies of company documents must be signed by the Board of Directors or authorized managing director and affix seal of the company.
- Additional documents may be requested as and when necessary. In the absence of a required document, the applicant must provide a letter explaining the unavailability of such document. Applicant must endorse on each and every page of the submitted copies of documentation. Documents in foreign languages must be translated into Thai and should be notarized by notary organs or by the applicant’s diplomatic or consular mission.
- Holder of this type of visa is entitled to stay in Thailand for a maximum period of 90 days. He or she may apply for an extension of stay at the Office of the Immigration Bureau and may be granted such extension for a period of one year from the date of first entry into Thailand.
Thailand Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

- If you are visiting someone in Thailand, a letter of invitation from your host is required. The letter must state the relationship between the applicant and the host and must be accompanied by the valid contact information of the host.
- Foreign nationals in Thailand can attend festivals and events that are taking place in the country.
- Applicants of this visa who are employed should provide a letter from their employer. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and must state the duration and the purpose of the applicant’s visit.
- Applicant applying for this visa are not permitted to work or study during their time in the country.
- If you are travelling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required. A notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
- Non- Seychellois should provide a copy of their residence permit.
- A proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
- Round-trip air ticket or e-ticket (paid in full).
- The visa is valid for 3 months.
- The tourist visa is extendable and can done at the Thailand Office of Immigration Bureau.
- Extension is solely on the discretion of the Immigration officer.
- If you enter Thailand via land border, you will be stamped a 15-day permission of stay as a tourist in the immigration post, after which you will have to exit the country again on or before the expiration of your permission of stay.
- The import of foreign currency exceeding USD 20,000 (or equivalent) must be declared to a Customs Officer upon arrival by all travellers.
- Pets have to be accompanied by a health certificate.
