Tourist visa

  • This visa is for applicants travelling to Yemen for relaxation, recreation and visitation purposes.
  • A passport with at least 6 months validity and two blank pages for visa stamps is to be provided.
  • Two (2) recent passport sized photographs that meet the visa photo requirements is needed for this application.
  • You must provide evidence of accommodation which could be hotel reservation or a letter from host in Yemen.
  • The invitation letter from the host should contain details of your relationship as well as the duration and purpose of your visit.
  • Proof of enough finincial capability. This proof could be either your recent bank statement or your host's.
  • A letter from your employer or school stating awareness of your trip is very important.
  • You are required to submit a copy of your computer-generated travel itinerary detailing your flight details and personal information.
  • Minors under 18 are required to submit their original birth certificate and a signed consent form from both parents.
  • Provide dates of arrival and return.
  • Travelers wishing to extend their stay beyond 30 days must file an extension with the Passport and Immigration Authority.
  • This visa costs 35$ and it's processed in 10 working days.
  • This visa is valid for a period of thirty days .
  • If staying in Yemen for less than 30 days, an exit visa is not required.
