How to get a Burundi visa from Singapore

• Singaporeans traveling to Burundi for tourism and visitation purposes are required to apply for the Burundi tourist visa.
• The Burundi tourist visa is valid for a 30-day stay and is non-extendable.
• Passengers with an Entry Authorisation letter issued by the authorities of Burundi before departure can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 1 month.
• Visitors are required to provide proof of accommodation. This could come in the form of a hotel booking.
• Applicants who are visiting friends or family members are required to provide an invitation letter.
• Proof of yellow fever vaccination must be provided by applicants.
• In 2009, the Burundian government criminalized homosexual acts between males; LGBT people should avoid all travel to Burundi.
• Security forces routinely search vehicles and homes (including those of foreigners). Residential searches are allowed between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. - Police must present identification and a search warrant.
