  • Citizens of Singapore can travel to India by applying for an e-visa. The e-visa costs about $25.
  • Intending visitors are required to have a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the date of India.
  • The passport should have at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
  • The import and export of India’s local currency are not permitted.
  • Also, the import and export of foreign currencies are unlimited, however, amounts exceeding $ 5,000 or its equivalent would be declared.
  • Visitors must show proof of accommodation for their entire stay in India. It could be in the form of a sponsor letter from a host living in the country or a hotel reservation.
  • Singaporean with firearms require an Import Permit from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in India.
  • Visitors required to provide a recent bank statement to show that they have enough money to spend while in India.
  • Tourists with pets (dogs and cats) must be accompanied by a veterinarian health certificate issued in Singapore.
  • A yellow fever vaccination is not required from nationals of Singapore. They are advised to be vaccinated against common illnesses before travelling to India.
  • Visitors are required to possess a return/onward ticket. Air India Express.
