Visa type details
Tourist visa
- Uruguay tourist visa is issued to Indonesians who want to travel to Uruguay for pleasure or leisure.
- This visa is valid for 90 days and is issued for multiple entries.
- Applicants are required to have accommodation in Uruguay which could be a hotel, guest house or with a host.
- Those who have a host would be required to present an invitation letter from the host.
- The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the host and the contact details of the host.
- A detailed travel plan showing all the places to be visited during the stay and duration of each visit is required.
- The visa application form must be properly filled and signed.
- Applicants are to present proof of income to show that they would be able to sponsor their stay in Uruguay.
- A travel return ticket is required as proof that the individual has the incentive of returning to Cambodia at the expiration of their visa.
- A medical certificate showing that the applicant is free of contagious diseases is required.
- This tourist visa cannot be used to seek employment or receive payments for services.
Business visa
- Uruguay business visa is issued to Indonesians who want to conduct business-related activities in the country.
- This visa can be used for investing in Uruguayan companies or attending meetings and seminars.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you intend to leave Uruguay.
- A letter of invitation from the Uruguayan company that the applicant will do business with should be submitted.
- The letter must be printed on the company or organization's letterhead and signed by the manager of the company.
- The invitation letter should contain the personal details of the person in charge of the company.
- If you are employed, a letter is required from your employer containing the profile of the company and the position of the applicant.
- A round trip ticket is required before your visa can be processed.
- Applicants are to undergo medical tests to prove that they do not have any contagious illnesses.
- A certificate from a renowned medical organization must be issued in effect.
- Accommodation is necessary for all applicants.
- You cannot be employed in Uruguay with this visa.
