Tourist visa
- The Faroe Islands tourist visa is issued to applicants who intend to visit the island for tourism and leisure.
- Entry into the Faroe Islands is by transit through Denmark as it is not a Schengen country.
- Visas are to be requested for at the Denmark embassy or consulate in South Africa.
- It should be noted that applicants must have it clearly stated on their visa that it is valid for the Faroe Islands. as the absence of this information on the applicant's visa results into denial of entry.
