Sweden Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

- It is valid for a maximum stay period of 90 days in every 180 days.
- The host company in Sweden is required to send a letter of invitation which should contain details of the nature of business to be conducted, duration of the business, sponsor of the trip.
- Individuals who have been previously involved in business dealings with the same host company should provide details of the transactions.
- A hotel reservation should be made in advance for the business trip to Sweden.
- Those that are self-employed should provide their business registration certificate and income tax clearance.

- Aliens seeking medical treatment in Sweden are eligible for this visa.
- A medical report from the doctor in charge of your treatment in Sudan is required. The report should state the nature of the illness, previous treatments undergone and possible treatment to be administered in Sweden.
- Confirmation of your medical appointment with the medical institution in Sweden should be provided. The dates and duration of the treatment should be included.
- Receipts showing deposits already made for the treatment is to be submitted during the visa application.
- Minors are to have a copy of their birth certificate and notarized travel authorization from both parents or guardian.
- A return trip ticket is required as proof that the applicant would return to Sudan after the treatment is required.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.
- Proof of financial means or support for the treatment should be in place while processing this visa.
- Reasons, why the applicant is leaving Sudan to undergo treatment in Sweden, should be stated.
- This visa is a short-stay visa valid for 90 days but can be extended in cases of emergencies.
- If the applicant will be admitted in the hospital or receive home treatment in Sweden, it should be stated. Those receiving treatment off-ward should include the address of the accommodation.
- Documents not in English should be translated into Swedish or English.
