Argentina visa requirements for Tanzanians

The Argentine tourist visa is issued to Tanzanians visiting Argentina for tourism, recreation and leisure. 

Applicants travelling with the intention of visiting friends and family can also do so on this  visa.

 The is a usually a short stay visa with a validity of between 30 - 90 days.

A letter of invitation written in spanish should be submitted if the applicant is a friend or a family member.

Applicants should have a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel.

Applicants should submit 2 copies of their passport photograph with a size of 2*2 dimension.

 Applicants are advised to refrain from making irrevocable travel plans or nonrefundable payments until the visa has been issued.

Applicants are to appear in person for the interview process at the embassy.

Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation that covers the applicants duration of stay should be submitted.

Applicants travel itinerary and round trip reservation should be submitted.

Proof of financial sufficiency either through bank statement or any other acceptable means is to be submitted by the applicant.

Applicants who are employed are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness of their leave, the duration and remuneration of the applicant.

Private business owners or applicants who are self employed are submit their a copy of their business registration.

Applicants who are below the age of 18 are to submit the original copy copy of their birth certificate alongside a  letter of consent from one or both parents.

Tanzanians are to submit a document that indicates that they the incentive of returning to his/her country.

Applicants should submit proof of payment of visa application fee.

Applicants are expected to abide by all the rules guiding this visa. 

All documents sent to the embassy are to be translated to Spanish.

Tanzanians on this visa are not allowed to carry out business activities, study or take up employment while in Argentina.

Tanzanians travelling to Argentina for business purposes are the recipients of the Argentine business visa.

Bearers of this visa can negotiate and sign business contracts with their counterparts while in Argentina.

The host company in Argentina must be registered with the National Registry of Petitioners on behalf of Foreign Applicants (RENURE) of the National Directorate of Migration. 

The business visa has a validity of 90 days and can be processed within 5-7 days.

Tanzanians who are employed are to submit a letter from the employer stating their awareness, purpose and duration of their leave.

A letter of invitation from your host company in Argentina should be sent to the consulate. The letter should contain the full contact address of the company, the purpose of your trip and duration. .

If the Tanzanian company will bear the financial responsibility of the applicants trip, it should be clearly stated in their letter addressed to the consulate.

Applicants who own their own businesses or are self employed should submit a copy of their business registration.

Proof of Income Tax Return for the past six months  should be submitted.

Proof of hotel reservation that cover the applicants duration of stay should be submitted.

Applicants are advised not to make non-refundable payment pending the approval of their  application.

Proof of previous business dealings with your host company in Argentina should be provided(if any).

Applicants are to submit proof of payment of visa application fee.

Tanzanians are to submit proof of incentive of returning to their country at the expiration of their visa.

All documents to be submitted to the consulate are to be translated to Spanish.

The Argentine Medical visa issued to Tanzanians travelling to Argentina to seek medical attention.

The medical institution in Argentina where the medical treatment would be administered should send a letter to the consulate confirming that the applicant is to be admitted for treatment in their facility and the duration of the treatment. 

Applicants are to submit a letter from their doctor in Tanzanian stating their medical condition and the reason the treatment will best gotten in Argentina.

All documents must be written or translated to Spanish with the institution's letterhead and signed by the person in charge.

Applicants who are self employed are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness of your leave duration and purpose. 

Applicants status in the company and the duration of your employment should also be stated in the letter.

Proof of incentive of returning to Tanzania at the completion of the treatment should be submitted.

Proof that the applicant has the financial sufficiency to cover the medical bills should be submitted.

Proof of payment of the visa application fee should be submitted.
