Australia visa requirements for Tanzanians

The Australian visitors visa can also be referred to as a Tourist visa.

The Australian tourist visa is issued to Tanzanians visiting Australia for sightseeing, recreation or vacation.

Tanzanians travelling with the aim of visiting family and friends can do that on this visa.

If the applicants purpose of travel is to visit a friend or family, they would require a letter of invitation from their host.

The letter should contain the full contact details of the host and should state the purpose and duration of the applicants visit.

Tanzanians who are employed are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness of their leave, duration and remunerations should be submitted.

Applicants below the age of 18 are to submit a copy of their original birth certificate along side a consent letter from one or both parents.

Applicants are to provide proof of the incentive of returning to Tanzania at the expiration of their visa.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of stay should be submitted.

Bearers of this visa can negotiate, sign business contracts, attend trade fairs, conferences and business summits with their partners in Australia.

Applicants who plan to attend conferences in the country are required to submit their proof of registration for the conference and fees paid for the conference.

The business owner visa subclass 890 allows its holders to live in Australia indefinitely.

The subclass 890 also allows its holders to sponsor eligible relatives for permanent residency.

Applicants of the subclass 890 should have owned and operated a business in Australia for at least 2 years immediately before the application is made.

The business innovation stream subclass 188 allows its holder to operate a new or existing business company.

The subclass 188 allows its holder to stay up to 3-4 years in Australia.

Employed applicants are to submit a letter from their employer stating their awareness, purpose and duration of the visit. 

The letter should also provide information which includes your position in the company, how long you have been employed.

The certificate of business registration of the company you are meeting is required.

The host company is to address a letter to the embassy stating the awareness of your visit, duration and purpose.

If the responsibility of the applicants expenses in Australia will be taken up by your employer or the partner company, it should be stated in the letter provided.

Applicants who are private business owners or self employed should submit a copy of their certificate of business registration and tax Return for the last 6 months.

The visa permits its holders to  work part time as long as it does not interfere with their studies.

This visa can be extended to cover the period of study.

Students are expected to leave the country at the end of their program.
