How to get a Japan visa from Tanzania

• This business visa is for Tanzanians who are going to Japan for business purposes and it allows you to stay for a maximum of 90 days.
• You can attend meetings, sign contracts, and conduct market surveys while in Japan.
• If you have a company inviting you to Japan, there should be a letter of invitation from the company stating your name and purpose of the visit to Japan.
• There should also be a business letter from your company of employment in Tanzania stating your purpose of visit to Japan.
• You are to submit proof of financial support for your entire stay in Japan.
• An original bank statement for the last 6 months is to be provided.
• Applicants are to submit an Income tax certificate.
• A certificate of ownership of your company is required if you are self-employed
• Note that business travelers can also be issued multiple-entry visas that is valid for unlimited entries within 1–5 years upon request.

• The Japan transit visa is issued to travelers who want to transit through Japan to another country.
• A detailed flight itinerary issued by the airline company is required.
• A visa to the final destination must be submitted alongside a valid passport.
• Applicants are allowed to stay in the city for only a maximum of 24 hours with a guarantee letter from a resident in Japan.
• If the stay goes beyond 24 hours, they are expected to submit a letter of guarantee from a resident in Japan or proof of sufficient funds to stay in Japan for a short period.
