Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Libyan Visa.
- A completed visa application form.
- An original signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Libya with at least one blank passport page for Libyan visa stamp.
- Two 2 x 2 cm passport-sized photo with a white background.
- A scanned copy of your passport's biodata page.
- Receipt of paid visa application fees.
- Travel itinerary for the duration of stay.
- Medical insurance for the period of stay in Libya.

Libya Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to travelers who want to visit Libya for sight-seeing and leisure.
- Applicant's passport is to have been issued between 10 years before the application period. It should also have two blank pages for stamps.
- Old visas issued to applicants should be carried along with the new visa application form.
- Documents are to be translated into Arabic and attached to the original documents in the previous language.
- This visa does not guarantee paid employment in the country.
- The passport or alternative documentation must be valid upon arrival.
- A tourist visa is usually valid for 45 days beginning from the date of issue if obtained from the embassy.
- Visas are generally issued for single or multiple entries with a stay of up to 45, 90 or 180 days, depending on the approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Libya and the discretion of the consulate.
- Applicants that have been issued a visa from Israel would not be allowed entry into Libya.
- Note that the amendment pages at the back of the passport are not suitable for Libyan visas.
Libya Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to applicants who intend to visit Libya for business purposes.
- Applicants can attend business meetings and conferences.
- It is also recommended that your valid passport have at least two unused pages for any necessary entry and exit stamps that may be issued.
- You are expected to review the number of pages and validity remaining on your passport in advance.
- Applicants should have an invitation letter from a company that operates in Libya or other sponsors.
- For sponsored applicants, a letter from employer or sponsoring company should be provided introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status/position held in the company and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Libya.
- The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Libya.
- Certificate of Business Registration of the inviting company should be submitted with other necessary documents.
- Note that the amendment pages at the back of the passport are not suitable for Libyan visas.
