Basic Travel Requirements for Tanzanians visiting Vietnam

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Vietnamese Visa.


  • Original copies of correctly filled, signed and stamped visa application form is required.
  •  A Coloured passport-sized photograph with a white background.
  • Applicant's passport must have a validity of 6 months after the date of exit from Vietnam.
  • The passport must have at least 2 blank visa pages for the Vietnam visa stamp.
  • The applicant should provide a copy of the bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds for the whole duration of stay in Vietnam.
  • Proof of accommodation which could be a hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from the host stating purpose, duration, and intentions of hosting you while in Vietnam
  • Travel tickets or itinerary showing entry and exit dates from Vietnam.
  • An original certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is required.
  • For minors travelling alone, their original birth certificate, as well as a signed letter of consent from both parents, is required.
