Basic Travel Requirements for Thais visiting Egypt
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Egyptian Visa.
- A passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have two blank pages for visa stamps.
- Duly completed and signed Egyptian visa application form.
- Two recent passport photographs taken against a white background and 2x2 inches in size is required.
- A complete travel document.
- Proof of financial capability to cover your duration of stay in Egypt.
- Proof of accommodation.
- Copy of return flight tickets.
- A certificate of yellow fever vaccination.

- The Egyptian tourist visa is a visa issued to foreigners who intend to visit Egypt for vacation, visitation, sightseeing or recreational purposes.
- A Thai passport with at least three months validity remaining after departure from Egypt and two blank pages for visa stamps is required.
- A completely filled and signed Egypt tourist visa application form.
- Two recently taken passport photographs, 2x2 inches in size.
- A bank statement collected from the bank not less than 14 days ago to show proof of financial status while in Egypt. The bank statement must show the bank name, stamp and authorized signature.
- A medical travel insurance certificate that will be valid for the duration of your stay in Egypt.
- Copy of hotel reservation voucher or proof of accommodation in Egypt.
- Applicants who wish to stay with a friend or relative in Egypt are required to submit a cover letter showing the full information of the host, the relationship between them, the residential address and contact details of the host.
