Basic Travel Requirements for Thais visiting Egypt

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Egyptian Visa.


  • A passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have two blank pages for visa stamps.
  • Duly completed and signed Egyptian visa application form.
  • Two recent passport photographs taken against a white background and 2x2 inches in size is required.
  • A complete travel document.
  • Proof of financial capability to cover your duration of stay in Egypt.
  • Proof of accommodation.
  • Copy of return flight tickets.
  • A certificate of yellow fever vaccination.
  • A document stating the applicant's purpose and duration of visit in Egypt.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
  • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
  • A consent letter from the applicant’s parents or legal guardian is required (if the applicant is a minor).
  • A police report stating that the applicant is free from criminal offenses.
