Basic Travel Requirements for Thais visiting Kuwait
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Kuwaiti Visa.
- A valid passport with a minimum validity of six months beyond your stay in Kuwait
- Letter from the host in Kuwait stating the contact details and residential address of the host.
- Duly completed visa application form.
- Recent passport-sized photographs with a white background (40mm x 60mm) in size.
- Return or Onward flight ticket.
- Invitation letter of invitation from a business partner in Kuwait for applicant visiting on business purpose.
- Payment of air ticket.
- Proof of health insurance.
- Copies of the bank statements from the last six months to prove that you have enough funds to cover your stay in Kuwait.
- Proof of paid visa fee.

Kuwait Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Kuwaiti tourist visa is a visa issued to foreigners visiting Kuwait for recreational purposes or visitation.
- A passport with a validity of six months beyond your stay in Kuwait is required.
- The passport must have blank pages for visa stickers.
- A completely filled and signed tourist visa application form.
- Two passport photographs must be attached to the visa application form.
- An invitation letter from a friend or relative in Kuwait is required. The letter must state the relationship between the applicant and the host as well as the contact details and the residential address of the host in Kuwait.
- Evidence of sufficient funds to cover your stay in Kuwait.
- Flight itinerary.
- Return/Onward ticket.
- A valid travel medical insurance to cover your stay in Kuwait.
- Hard drugs, weapons and other harmful substances are prohibited in Kuwait. Anyone found in possession of these items will be prosecuted.
- Proof of accommodation in Kuwait.

Kuwait Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Thailand citizens who intend to visit Kuwait for business purposes can apply for this visa.
- The Kuwaiti business visa has a validity of six months before expiry.
- Holders of this visa can attend conferences, seminars, exhibitions and can meet with a business partner in Kuwait.
- An official invitation letter from the company in Kuwait must be provided. The company’s address, the reason for your visit and the duration of your stay should be clearly stated in the letter.
- A certificate of business registration of the company in Kuwait is required.
- Proof of civil status in Thailand is required.
- If your employer or the company you are meeting with will be responsible for taking care of your expenses, it should be stated in the invitation letter.
- If there have been previous business dealings between the two companies, proof of this should be presented during the visa application process.
- Flight itinerary.
- A letter from the applicant employer stating awareness of the applicant's business trip and showing the applicant's current job position and salary range.
- Proof of accommodation in Kuwait.
