Basic Travel Requirements for Thais visiting Lithuania

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lithuanian Visa.


  •  A passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Lithuania. 
  • The passport must have at least two blank pages for visa stickers.
  • Proof of previously used passports (if any).
  • A duly filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two identical passport photographs with a light background.
  • Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 Euros and valid for the entire duration of stay in the Schengen area.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of your visit to Lithuania.
  • Proof of accommodation.
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover your trip in the country.
  • A letter of invitation from a host in Lithuania. 
  • Flight itinerary.
