Basic Travel Requirements for Thais visiting Lithuania

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lithuanian Visa.

  •  A passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Lithuania. 
  • The passport must have at least two blank pages for visa stickers.
  • Proof of previously used passports (if any).
  • A duly filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two identical passport photographs with a light background.

Lithuania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Lithuanian tourist visa is a short stay visa that allows its holders to visit the country for tourism.
  • Applicants of this visa can tour, go for sight-seeing, attend festivals and visit family and friends in Lithuania.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of the applicants' visit to Lithuania is required.
  • Two passport photographs, identical and taken in a white background should be provided.
  • Thailand citizens visiting Lithuania must have a passport valid for at least three months beyond your departure date from the country. 
  • A completely filled and signed tourist visa application form. The form must be submitted by the applicant in person.
  • Proof of sufficient funds would be required and it could be in the form of a recent bank statement to prove that the applicant is financially capable of catering for his/her expenses while in Lithuania. 
  • Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country is required.
  • An invitation letter from a host in Lithuania. The letter must state the relationship between you and the host, duration of your stay and contact address and residential details of the host.
  • Proof of paid visa fee.
  • The currency restriction for entry and exit in Lithuania is 10,000 Euros.
  • Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros valid for the duration of your stay in Lithuania. 

Lithuania Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Lithuania's business visa is a visa issued to foreigners visiting the country for trade and commercial transactions.
  • The Lithuanian business visa Is a visa valid for a duration of 90 days in 180 days.
  • An international passport valid for the entire duration of your stay in Lithuania.
  • A completely filled and signed Lithuanian business visa application form and recently taken passport-sized photographs taken in a light background is required.
  • An invitation letter from your business partner in Lithuania stating the nature of the business to be conducted and your duration of stay in the country is required.
  • Foreigners in Lithuania on a business visa are only allowed to attend conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and sign business deals.
  • Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations valid for the duration of your trip.
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of your visit to Lithuania must be provided.
  • A letter stating if your business partner in Lithuania or your employer in Thailand is sponsoring your business trip must be submitted.
  • Foreigners in Lithuania on a business visa are not allowed to take up paid employment.
  • If there have been business transactions between the applicant's company in Thailand and the host company in Lithuania, a record of business transactions should be provided.
  • Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros valid for the period of your stay.
  • A copy of your return flight ticket.

Lithuania Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Lithuanian student visa is issued to individuals who want to study in Lithuania.
  • A Completed Electronic Visa Application Form along with one recent coloured passport photograph is required.
  • A passport with at least for at least six months after the date of departure and 2 blank pages for visa stickers is required.
  • Valid medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros covering the duration of your stay in Lithuania. 
  • A confirmed Air ticket reservation.
  • Mediation letter electronically submitted through (EPIS).
  • Proof of sufficient financial means (student must own a sum of 150 EUR for every month of the entire period of study in Lithuania.
  • Bank statement for the last three months to show proof of financial status.
  • A document containing certificates and diplomas of your previous educational institution.
  • A letter of admission from a school in Lithuania. The letter should state that you have been admitted into the institution and should show your course of study and the duration of your course of study.
  • A cover letter written by the applicant stating the reasons for choosing to study in Lithuania and not in Thailand.
  • Proof of fully paid tuition fee.
  • Proof of accommodation in Lithuania valid for your study year.
