Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a American Visa.
- A DS-160 online nonimmigrant visa application form (This is to be completely filled online).
- A printed copy of the confirmation page of the visa application form (VAC).
- An original passport with a 6 months validity beyond the arrival date in the US.
- Old passports (In case of former travels).
- Both digital and hardcopy of the applicant's passport photograph. One of each photo is required.
- Proof of visa application payment (This is a proper receipt for the application).
- A printout of the US interview appointment at the embassy.
- Supporting documents specific to each kind of visa you are applying for.
- Proof of financial stability to stay for the intended period of time in the U.S.

- The United States B visa also called the visitor visa is a non-immigrant visa issued to applicants visiting the country for business and tourism purposes.
- It allows its holder a stay of up to 180 days which can also be extendable.
- Individuals traveling for business would be issued a B1 visa while those traveling for tourism would be given a B2 visa.
- The B1 allows the individual to conduct business, negotiate a contract and sign business deals in the United States.
- The B2 visa is issued to applicants visiting the country for leisure, tourism, visitation, attending events and medical treatments.
- The holder of this B visa cannot study, be employed, receive payment or reside permanently in the United States.
- A completed DS-160 form is the first step to applying for the visa. It is important to apply for the visa in advance to the intended travel date.
- All applicants are to show proof that they have a clean criminal record in their home country.
- Your visa can be denied if the consular officer finds it necessary to deny the issuance of the visa.
- A travel return ticket is required as proof that the applicant would return to Thailand when their visa expires and that they do not intend to take up permanent residence in the country.
- Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations in the country is needed.

United States Of America Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The United States of America student visa is divided into the F and M visa.
- The F visa is issued to individuals who want to attend University or college, High school, private elementary school, seminary or take a language training program in the United States.
- The M visa is for those who want to attend a vocational or other nonacademic institution.
- You can apply for this visa after you have been enrolled in a SEVP-approved school.
- Then you would be registered for the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) by the school and would be required to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
- The school would then issue you a Form I-20 which you would use to apply for your visa at the U.S. embassy. This form must be taken to your interview.
- Students are also required to fill the Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form DS-160.
- Individuals who are between the ages of 13 years and younger and 80 years and older are not required to attend an interview.
- Applicants must have a sponsor or other proof of sufficient funds for the duration of their study.
- Proof of accommodation is required. This could be a hostel on-campus or an apartment off-campus.
- After you have been issued a visa, you are to resume within five months to avoid losing your admission status in the country.
- It should be stated clearly on the Form I-20 that students have fully paid for the tuition fee.
- You are required to present the original and copies of your earlier academic documents such as school transcripts with grades, public examination certificates and diplomas during the visa application.
United States Of America Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The US work visa is only issued to foreigners who have gained employment in the country.
- For nonimmigrants, they are to be given specific visas based on the type of work they would be doing.
- The US work visa is also known as the H-1B visa. This visa allows U.S employers to temporarily employ foreign workers.
- The visa is valid for 1-3 years and can be extended to six years after which its holder can re-apply.
- The United States work visa costs $190 USD and these fees are non-refundable even if the visa application is rejected.
- Your employer is required to file a petition which would be approved by USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services)and verified by PIMS during your visa interview.
- Candidates are to apply for a visa that matches their qualifications, skills or experience.
- Applicants would be required to prove that they have the incentive of returning to Thailand after the expiration of their visa.
- A letter of recommendation from your current or previous employer in Thailand is required.
- Foreigners would be granted a grace period of up to 60 days to stay in the United States after the expiry of their visa. You are required to exit the country after exceeding your grace period.
- Holders of this H-1B visa can bring immediate family members to the United States under the H-4 (dependent) visa category.
- A Form I-129 accompanied by necessary supporting documents and fees must be provided by the applicant when applying for the H-1B visa.
- Note that the receipt you would receive after making your payment is valid for one year from the date of payment.
- Applicants must schedule their interview while their visa payment receipt is valid. Applicants who didn't schedule before the expiry of the receipt would have to pay the fee again and restart their visa process.
