Finland visa requirements for Togoleses

This Finnish tourist visa type is issued to Togolese visiting Finland for vacation, recreation, relaxation, and sightseeing.

Applicants visiting either their friends or relatives are to provide a letter of invitation from their host. This letter should contain the home address, telephone number as well as a valid means of identification of the host.

Foreigners can attend festivals and events during their time in the country.

Finland belongs to a Schengen state and therefore the Schengen visa is acceptable.

The Finnish tourist visa can either be issued as a single, double, or multiple entry visa.

Applicants are to submit a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from their proposed date of travel.

Applicants who are employed are to submit a letter from their employers stating the awareness, purpose and duration of their leave. 

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted.

Applicants travelling with minors are to submit the original birth certificate of the minor alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents.

Proof of incentive of returning to your country at the expiration of your visa is mandatory.

Holders of this visa should ensure they have proof of the incentive of returning to their country.

Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.

Proof of travel itinerary or round trip reservation should be submitted.

A travel insurance that has a value of 30,000 euros should also be submitted.

Proof of paid visa application fee should be submitted.

You are expected to leave the country at the expiration of your visa.

The medical visa is issued to Togolese travelling to Finland for medical purposes.

A medical report from your doctor in your home country should be submitted.

The report should include your diagnosis and the reason for the referral to Finland.

A letter from the medical institution in Finland stating their awareness and acceptance to treat the applicant and the duration of the treatment.

The date of your appointment and your medical situation should be stated in the attestation from the hospital in Finland.

Employed applicants are to provide a letter from their employer stating the awareness of their leave, duration and purpose.

Proof of payment of medical fee should be submitted.

Proof of incentive of returning to your home country at the expiration of your visa.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's medical bill.

Applicants below age 18 are to submit the original birth certificate and a letter of consent from one or both parents. 

You are not allowed to work while you are in the country.

At the end of your treatment, you are expected to leave the country.

Holders are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.

Proof of paid visa application fee is required.

This visa can be extended only on special occasions.

The Finnish business visa is issued Togolese with the intention of meeting up with business partners in the country for business purposes.

Togolese on this visa can sign and negotiate contracts with their partners in Finland

You can attend trade fairs, conferences, and business summits whilst you are in the country.

A letter of invitation from the host company in Finland written on the company’s letterhead should be submitted.

The letter should contain the full contact address of the company and should also state the purpose of your visit.

If the applicants' expenses will  be covered by the partner company or the employer, it should be stated in the letter of invitation.

Applicants are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness, purpose and duration of the visit..

Proof of previous trade relations between the two companies should be provided if any.

The original certified copy of Memorandum and Article of Association should be provided.

If the applicant is a private business owner, proof of business registration should be submitted.

You are not allowed to be employed while you are in the country.

Holders of this visa are not allowed to seek public funds.

Proof of paid visa application fee is required.

Income Return tax for the past six months should also be submitted.

Proof of incentive of returning to your country at the expiration of your visa is required.

At the expiration of this visa, applicants are expected to leave the country.

This visa is only extended in exceptional cases.
