Basic Travel Requirements for Tunisians visiting Armenia

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Armenian Visa.

  • Original Angolan Passport with 6 months validity beyond the date of travel.
  • The passport should have one empty page for the visa stamp.
  • One Armenian visa application form that is correctly filled and signed.
  • Two recent Passport photographs with a white background that is taken within 6 months.
  • One copy of the flight itinerary. It must include dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Armenia.
  • A copy of the Applicant's bank statement as proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay in Armenia.
  • The bank statement must be not older than 3 months.
  • The applicant must also provide a sponsorship letter from the host in Armenia that confirms they will be financially supporting the trip and duration of stay in Armenia. The letter must be accompanied by the required bank statement of the sponsor, no older than three months.
  • Proof of accommodation by providing a copy of confirmed hotel reservations or an invitation letter from the host in Armenia.
  • Letter of Invitation from the host in Armenia.
  • Health insurance for the whole period of stay in Armenia, with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros in case of any medical emergency as illnesses, accidents and even repatriation in case of death.

Armenia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • An Armenian Tourist visa is issued to foreigners who intend to visit Armenia for tourism, visiting family and friends.
  • One completely filled and signed application form is required.
  • Two recent passport photographs attached to the application form.
  • Original Angolan passport with a minimum of 6-month validity.
  • Passport must have at least one blank page for stamp.
  • Copy of confirmed round trip tickets showing entry and exit dates.
  • Copy of confirmed hotel reservation serving as proof of accommodation in Armenia.
  • A letter of invitation from family, friend, or tour company/organization in Armenia is required.
  • The letter must include the purpose and duration of stay in Armenia.
  • It should also be stated in the letter if the host is a family member, a friend or tour organization will be financially responsible for the applicant.
  • The letter of invitation must be approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Armenia. 
  • Minors intending to visit Armenia may be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. The original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be provided during the visa application.
  • An extension to this visa is issued by the Passport and Visa Department of the Police of Armenia.
  • Foreigners are expected to leave the country on or before this visa expires.

Armenia Official Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to holders of diplomatic passports and for the persons with diplomatic status.
  • Other eligible applicants of this visa are holders of official or service passports.
  • An official invitation from the inviting organization is required.
  • Holders of this visa can be accompanied to the country by their family members.
  • The official visa can be extended for another 60 days if no other term is defined by international agreements of the Republic of Armenia.
  • Minors traveling to Armenia should ensure they are in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate.
  • Foreign nationals are expected to leave the country on or before this visa expires.
  • No fee is charged for this visa.

Armenia Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A transit visa is issued to foreigners with the intention of transiting through the Republic of Armenia to the destination country.
  • This transit visa is issued for a maximum stay of 72 hours and can be extended by another 24 hours.
  • The transit visa is extended by the Passport and Visa Department of the Police of Armenia.
  • Foreigners transiting through Armenia must present flight tickets of their destination country.
  • The visa of the applicant’s destination country must also be provided.
  • Transit visas can be obtained without tickets or visa if the applicant is transiting through Armenia by land.
  • If the applicant is traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be submitted.
  • Holders of this visa are not allowed to work or study while they are in the country.
  • Applicants are required to provide the travel itinerary of the destination country.
