Basic Travel Requirements for Tunisians visiting Bahrain

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bahraini Visa.


  • Bahrain visa application form that is completely filled and signed.
  • Original Tunisia passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond stay in Bahrain.
  • Passport must have two blank pages for visa stamp.
  • Colored passport photograph taken against a white background.
  • Airline reservations should be provided by applicants.
  • The airline confirmed a return ticket showing the applicant has intentions of returning to Tunisia.
  • Hotel reservation/confirmation serving as proof of accommodation.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the whole duration of stay by providing a valid bank statement of at least three months.
  • Invitation letter from family, friend or company in Bahrain.
  • The applicant should apply for another visa if the recent visa has expired.
  • A tourist visa is extendable for a period of 1 week and in totality, the guest can stay for 14 days with periodical extension, & extra charges apply.
  • For extension of the visa, applicants are required to apply 3 days in advance before expiry of visa along with the original passport.
  • Applicant's passport must not contain an Israeli stamp or visa will be denied.

It is located in Hoora, part of the capital, Manama. The Oil Musuem is located near Jabal A Dunkhan. It was built in 1992 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the first discovery of oil in the Persian Gulf, it exhibits old photographs, drilling equipment and a working model of an oil rig.
