Basic Travel Requirements for Tunisians visiting Bhutan

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bhutanese Visa.

  • Original passport with at least 6 months validity beyond stay in Bhutan.
  • Passport with at least two blank pages for Bhutan visa stamp.

Bhutan Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The tourist visa is issued to a foreigner for the purpose of sightseeing, relaxation and recreational purposes in Bhutan.
  • Holders of a tourist visa can also visit family relatives or friends in Bhutan.
  • Original Tunisia Passport with 6-month validity beyond stay in Bhutan.

Bhutan Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The business visa is granted to foreigners visiting Bhutan to attend business meetings, negotiate and sign contracts or other business purposes.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months following the date of your arrival to Bhutan.
  • Passport should have at least two blank pages for the Bhutan visa entry stamp.
  • Bhutan application form that is signed and correctly filled by the applicant.
  • The signature on the visa application form and passport copy should match.
  • Applicants are to provide proof of travel insurance with an equivalent of $30,000 for the duration of stay.
  • Receipt showing proof that the visa application fee has been paid.
  • Applicants are required to provide the certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.
  • Letter of invitation from the inviting company/organization stating the address of the host company, duration, and purpose of the applicant's visit to Bhutan company.
  • The letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and the type of business to be conducted in Bhutan.
  • Letter from the applicant’s employer from the company in Tunisia explaining the applicant’s job position held in Tunisia, and the duration of the business leave.
  • Self-employed applicants should submit a copy of business certificates and registration. A copy of the income tax return should also be submitted. 
  • Proof of previous business transactions with the company, if available, is required.
