Basic Travel Requirements for Tunisians visiting Gambia

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Gambian Visa.

  • A passport that has two completely blank pages and issued 6 months before the travel dates.
  • A completed and signed Visa Application Form.
  • A Passport photo should be taken within the last three months with a white background.
  • Passport photographs should not be stapled and must be signed.
  • Applicants are required to provide a copy of entering and leaving airline tickets.
  • For minors traveling alone, birth certificate and consent note signed by parents is required. 
  • Bank statements that show proof of financial support for the duration of stay.
  • A copy of a signed police report stating the applicant has no history of any criminal crime.
  • Proof of yellow fever and meningitis vaccination is required for entry.
  • Hepatitis A, rabies and typhoid vaccination certificate are also required.

Gambia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A tourist visa is granted for tourism purposes such as leisure, vacations, sightseeing, and visiting friends or family relatives.
  • Gambia application form should be correctly filled and signed.
  • An original Tunisian passport that is valid for at least six months after staying in the Gambia.
  • Two recent passport photographs with a white background.
  • Passport photographs should be taken within the last three months.
  • Visitors under the age of 18 should submit birth certificates and a signed letter of approval by a parent or legal guardian.
  • A criminal report signed by the police department showing no sign of criminal activities.
  •  Applicants are not permitted to overstay the required duration of stay.
  • Flight ticket showing entry and exit date from the Gambia.
  • Applicants under 18 years should submit an original birth certificate and consent note signed by a parent.
  • A certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is required.
  • A letter of invitation from a friend or relative is required. If the host will be financially responsible for the applicant throughout the required stay, it should be stated in the letter of invitation.
  • The letter should also involve the duration of stay and contact information of the host in the Gambia.
  • Applicants of a tourist visa are not allowed to engage in any business activities.
  • The maximum stay for tourists is 90 days.

  • Original Passport with a validity of 6 months after exiting the Gambia.
  • A copy of the signed Gambia visa application form.

  • Applicants are required to provide bank statements as proof of financial funds fro the whole duration of stay.
  • A business letter from the host company/organization in the Gambia stating the purpose of visit, duration of the visit and financial responsibility of applicant’s travel expenses.
  • The business letter should also include the type of business to be conducted in the Gambia.
  • A business letter from the sending company in Tunisia showing proof that the applicant is an employee of the company and in good standing is required.
  • The letter should also indicate that the applicant's employer is fully aware of the business leave and will be returning to Tunisia.
  • Applicants are not required to engage in any business activity that is not included in the travel itinerary.
  • Applicants are not required to overstay the required duration of stay in The Gambia.
  • Applicants are to leave on or before the expiration of the visa.
