Basic Travel Requirements for Tunisians visiting Mexico

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Mexican Visa.


  • Original Tunisian passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Mexico is required.
  • Passport must have at least one blank page for entry/visa stamp. 
  • A duly completed and signed Mexico visa application form.
  • The parents or legal guardians are required to sign the visa application form if the applicant is a minor.
  • Three recent passport photographs taken against a white background is required.
  • Travel document must be completely provided.
  • Proof of financial capability or bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds for the whole duration of stay in Mexico.
  • Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations for the entire stay is required.
  • A copy of return flight ticket to Tunisia is required.
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to Tunisia should be provided.
  • A police report showing that the applicant does not have a criminal record in Tunisia. The police report must be valid for at least 3 months before dates if travel and must be issued by the Police Department in Tunisia.
  • Medical insurance that covers the duration of stay.
  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
  • A copy of travel itinerary showing travel details, entry and exit dates from Mexico. Applicants are to provide a receipt showing that the visa application fee has been fully paid.
  • A copy of a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
