Application requirements
Documents Tunisian applicants need to provide.
- A completely filled and signed visa application form.
- An original Tunisia passport valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Romania.
- The passport should have at least 2 blank pages for the Romania visa stamp.
- Amendments pages of the passport will not be used for visa stamp.
- A passport with less sufficient pages is required to be renewed.
- 2 recent passport photograph taken against a white background displaying a neutral expression is required.
- Travel itinerary showing travel details including dates of entry and exit from Romania.
- An invitation letter from the host (a family member, friend, tour organization or host company/organization) in Romania is required.
- A copy of the certificate of vaccination against yellow fever vaccination is required from applicants coming from infected areas.
- Receipt showing proof that the visa application fee has been paid is required.
- Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations for the whole duration of stay in Romania is required.
- A copy of the original bank statement of the last three months showing proof of sufficient funds for the entire duration of stay is required.
- A copy of return travel tickets to Tunisia is required.
- An issued police report from the local police department in Tunisia showing that the applicant has no history of criminal activities in Tunisia.
- Applicants are not required to overstay the required duration of stay in Romania.
- Applicants who wish to extend visa should submit an application at the office of the Ministry of Foreign affairs in Romania.
- Minors are required to submit an original copy of the birth certificate and a signed consent note from both parents/legal guardians

- The tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting Romania for tourist purposes such as relaxation, recreation, sightseeing and holidays.
- Holders of the tourist visa can also visit friends and family members living in Romania.
- Holders of a tourist visa cannot partake in any form of business activity or take up courses to study during the stay in Romania.
- Romania visa application form that is correctly filled and signed by the applicant is required.
- Tunisia passport should be valid for 6 months after the required period of stay in Romania.

- The business visa is issued to foreigners visiting Romania for business meeting such as attending business meeting and conferences, negotiating and signing contracts and getting involved in trade fairs with other business partners or company in Romania.
- Applicants are required to submit a correctly filled and signed Romania visa application form.
- An original Tunisia passport valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Romania.
- The passport should have at least 2 blank pages for Romania visa stamp.
- 2 identical passport photograph taken against a white background is required and must be taken within the last three months.
- Travel itinerary showing travel details dates of arrival and departure from Israel.
- An invitation letter from the inviting/host company introducing the applicant and stating the duration and purpose of visit to Romania is required.
- The letter of invitation must clearly state the nature of business to be conducted in Romania, address and contact information of the host company.
- The company/organization in Romania must be registered under the government of Romania. A certificate that shows proof of registration is required.
- A business cover letter from the sending company in Tunisia indicating the applicants' position held in the company and duration of business leave.
- The letter must also indicate that the applicant’s employer is aware of the business leave and stating that the applicant possess good morals while in Tunisia.
- If should be clearly stated in the required letters if the ending or inviting company will be financially responsible for the applicant for the whole duration of stay.
- An original bank statement or payslip showing proof of sufficient funds while in Romania.
- A copy of a signed police report showing no record of criminal activity in Tunisia.
