Documents Ugandan applicants need to provide.
- An Ugandan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
- Duly completed and signed visa application form.
- If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
- Passport-size photographs (35 mm x 45 mm) taken in white background.
- Travel document.
- Proof of financial support.
- Proof of accommodation.
- Copy of return flight ticket.
- Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country, e.g. verification from applicant’s employer.
- Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.

Visitor Visa
- The Armenian visitor visa is designed for Ugandans traveling to Uganda for visitation purposes.
- The visitor visa is valid for 120 days.
- Travelers enter the territory of the Republic of Armenian through border-control points. For entry, a foreigner must have a valid passport, entry visa or a document of residency status unless Armenian laws or international agreements define no other procedure.
- Minors may enter Armenia accompanied by parents, a parent or any other legal representative.
- If a foreigner arrives in Armenia without any valid identity document or visa or if he gets refusal to obtain an Armenian visa, he cannot enter the territory of the Republic of Armenia and must be returned to his country of origin or to the country he arrived Armenia from unless the aim of arrival is to apply for asylum or refugee status.
- When police are called, they routinely show up. However, you should bear in mind that they generally do not speak English.
- Public transportation, while inexpensive, may be unreliable and uncomfortable, so it is best to hire a rental car.
- Informal taxis or mini-buses pose particular threats to people unfamiliar with local conditions, especially to women traveling alone.
Transit visa
- The Armenian transit visa is issued to Ugandans who intend to travel through Armenia to their final destination.
- Your Ugandan passport must be valid for up to 6 months before applying for a transit visa.
- An onward ticket to your destination country must be provided to apply for the transit visa.
- You must also have a valid entry visa to your destination from Armenia.
- The Armenian single-entry transit visa costs $21 while the multiple-entry visa which is valid for 1 year costs $37.
- The transit visa allows a stay of up to 3 days but can be extended for a maximum of 4 days in emergency cases.
- You must provide proof of payment of the visa fee.
- Travelers are advised to not overstay their visa, as overstaying may attract penalties.
