Ugandans traveling to Cyprus for tourist purposes can apply for the Cypriot tourist visa.
The Republic of Cyprus is a member of the European Union but is not a party to the Schengen Agreement.
Solid evidence of the last three months that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the intended stay in Cyprus, e.g. a bank statement or travelers’ cheques.
Provisional books or Itinerary of travel arrangements (Round trip ticket with fixed dates) must be provided by the traveler. Ticket should not be purchased before the visa is issued.
Prior hotel reservation faxed by the hotel manager must also be provided.

Students going for undergraduate programs are required to present their original senior school leaving certificate with grade reports while those going for postgraduate programs are to present their Bachelor's or Master's certificate.
Students are required to submit two set of signed copies of original certificates in both cases.
You will be required to show proof of your financial capability to ascertain your ability to meet all the financial needs of the program. Your proof of financial status can be through a statement of account showing a minimum balance of £ 7000 or a bank sponsorship letter.
If the student is applying for a scholarship, financial documentation from the sponsor as well as the scholarship certificate granted should be presented.
An original medical certificate must be provided, and it must show the result of the following medical test – Tuberculosis, HIV, Hepatitis B, Syphilis, Yellow fever, and hepatitis C.
An original police character certificate must be provided.This document is essential as it indicates that the student is a model citizen with no criminal records.
