Basic Travel Requirements for Emiratis visiting Belize

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Belizean Visa.

  • Original UAE passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the intended period of stay in Belize.
  • Passport must have at least one blank page for the visa stamp.
  • Belize visa application form must be completely filled and signed.
  • One recent passport photograph with a white background.
  • Copies of tickets or confirmed travel itinerary showing entry and exit date.
  • Copies of most recent bank statement showing proof of financial means.
  • Copies of confirmed hotel reservation as proof of accommodation in Belize.
  • Receipt showing that the visa application fee has been paid.
  • A record of good character signed by the local police department in UAE is required.
  • A certificate of yellow fever vaccination is to be submitted by applicants.
  • All applications and supporting documents must be in the English Language.

Belize Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • One complete Belize visa application form.
  • Passport with 6 months validity beyond trip completion.
  • The passport must have at least one blank page for the Belize visa stamp.
  • One copy of the flight itinerary showing entry and exit date from Belize.
  • Proof of accommodation or hotel itinerary is required.
  • Letter of invitation from the host in Belize explaining the relationship between the host and applicant.
  • The host in Belize could be a friend, family member or tour organization in Belize.
  • The letter should also include the duration of stay and purpose of stay in Belize
  • It should be stated in the letter of invitation if the host will be financially responsible for the applicant for the whole period in Belize.
  • Letter of invitation must also include the host’s home address and contact information.
  • Holders of a tourist visa must not engage in any business activities in Belize.

  • Original UAE passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Belize.
  • The Passport must have at least one blank page for Belize visa stamp.
  • Completely filled and signed the Belize visa application form.
  • One recent passport photograph with a white background displaying a neutral expression.
  • Confirmed travel itinerary showing entry and exit date.
  • Bank statement showing proof of financial means.
  • Hotel reservation as proof of accommodation in Belize.
  • Invitation letter from the Belize company applicant stating details of business and address of the company, accompanied by the dates of the visit.
  • The letter of invitation must also state the type of business to be conducted or carried out in Belize.
  • Letter from the applicant’s employer in UAE, stating that the applicant is of good moral and that the employer allows the applicant to leave throughout the required period.
  • The letter of invitation must indicate if the host company is covering the financial expenses of the applicant.
