Basic Travel Requirements for Emiratis visiting Ireland

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Irish Visa.

  • Irish visa pplication form that is fully completed and signed.
  • Passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the intended stay.
  • Two passport photograph with a white or light grey background is required.
  • Passport photograph should be taken within the last 6 months.
  • For children under the age of 18 travelling alone, birth certificate and consent note signed by both parents is required.
  • All documents submitted must be in English Language.
  • All visa applicants should provide bank statement showing evidence of sufficient funds that they can support themselves for the duration of their stay in Ireland.
  • Original copy and 2 photocopies of the Police Clearance Certificate should be attached to the applicant’s passport.
  • Travel itinerary showing entry and exit date from Ireland.

Ireland Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The tourist visa is issued to visitors who want to explore Ireland for tourism purposes, visiting of friends and family, and recreational purposes.
  • The tourist visa application form must be duly filled and signed by the applicant.
  • Applicant’s passport must valid for at least 6 months after the date of departure from Ireland.
  • The valid passport must have at least 2 blank visa pages for the Irish visa stamp. 
  • 2 recent passport photograph taken against a white background is required.
  • An invitation letter from the host in Ireland stating the relationship with the applicant, purpose, and duration of stay in Ireland is required.
  • The letter should also involve the contact information and home address of the host.  
  • A copy of the hotel reservations including the address of the hotel, your name and the exact dates of the applicant's stay is required.
  • If the applicant will be financially supported by the Irish host, it must be clearly stated in the letter of invitation.
  • Holders of a tourist visa are not required to work or engage in business purposes.

Ireland Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A business visa is granted to visitors who want to visit Ireland for business purposes such as attending business meetings or conferences, meeting with other business partners, and signing contracts.
  • A completely, correctly filled and signed visa application form.
  • Original UAE passport with at least 6 months validity after the date applicant propose to leave Ireland.
  • Applicants should provide 2 recent passport photos that is taken within the last 6 months.
  • Passport photos should be taken with a white background.
  • A letter from the applicant's employer in UAE introducing the applicant, indicating the position of the applicant in the company, purpose, and duration of the business trip is required.
  • The letter should also state the awareness of the business leave to Ireland and confirm that the applicant will be returning to Rwanda after the required visit to Ireland.
  • An invitation letter from the host company in Ireland indicating the nature of the business to be carried out is required.
  • The invitation letter must clearly indicate the contact information of the host company in Ireland.
  • If the sending company or inviting company will be financially responsible for the applicant in Ireland it should be clearly stated in the required letters.
  • Bank statements of the last 6 months should be submitted by the applicant.
