Basic Travel Requirements for Vietnameses visiting Brazil

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Brazilian Visa.


  • An international  passport valid for at least 6 months on entry 
  •  The passport must have two blank pages for visa stamp.
  •  A duly completed and signed visa application form.
  • A minor’s application form has to be signed by his/her parents. 
  • Three recent  identical  passport-size photographs (5 x 7 cm).
  • The travel document must be completely provided.
  • The traveler has to show proof of sufficient funds to cover their duration of stay.  
  • Proof of accommodation has to be provided even if the applicant is staying with a host or at a hotel. 
  • Travelers are to provide a copy of their onward or return flight. 
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to the home country.
  • A report from the police in the applicant’s home country to show he/she does not have a criminal record.
  • Medical insurance that covers the duration of stay.
  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
  • A copy of the travel itinerary from a travel agency. 
  • Applicants are to provide proof of the paid visa application fee.
