Basic Travel Requirements for Vietnameses visiting Ireland
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Irish Visa.
- A fully completed and signed application form.
- An original, signed passport valid for at least six months is required.
- If you are a new passport holder, you will have to provide a previous passport showing details of visas issued in other countries and your travel history.
- Two passports including a passport-style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months is needed when you are applying for an Ireland Visa.
- A copy of your Green Card (both sides) to prove your status.
- A copy of an itinerary or flight reservation from an airline or travel agent is mandatory.
- Copies of bank statements from the past 6 months are required.
- Copy of a letter from your employer
- For students, you will need to submit an official letter from your school.
- If you are retired, then you will be requested to submit proof of your retirement fund.

Ireland Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Irish tourist visa is issued to people who want to visit Ireland for the purpose of tourism, pleasure trips or to visit families and friends who reside in Ireland.
- The Ireland Tourist visa is also known as Holiday or Irish Visit Visa.
- It is a short stay visa that is granted for the purpose of temporary visits only.
- A current and valid passport valid for at least six months beyond the date you intend to exit Ireland is required.
- A letter of invitation stating the purpose of your visit is to be provided at the embassy.
- Documentations that prove you intend to return back to your home country; evidence showing your family ties.
- A proof of your financial status to prove you will be able to support yourself during your stay in Ireland.
- A bank statement valid for at least six months.
- In case you are staying with family or friends in Ireland, you may have to submit a letter from your host that shows they have taken full financial responsibility for your visit.
- An insurance cover would be required at the entry-point in Ireland. This is to prove that you are not a financial liability.
- You are only granted a 90 days stay with a tourist visa.

- A business visa is valid for only 90 days.
- The business Visa makes it legal for you to work for only 14 days or less.
- The business visa doesn't allow you to work for 15 days or longer whether it is paid or unpaid.
- If you are a holder of an Irish Visa, you are not allowed to use Irish public services e.g public hospitals.
- Even with a visa from the immigration officer, you can be denied entry into Ireland.
- If you are applying for an Irish business visa, you must apply for a visa from your home country or from a country where you are a legal resident.
- You would have to apply for an Irish business visa, three months before your entry to Ireland.
- You can process your application online in three steps (1)The first step requires you to create a visa application online (2) The second step is for you to pay the visa application fee (3) The third step requires you to send in your passport & other documents for processing.
- In some cases, you may also need to provide biometric information to serve as proof of identity.
- You shouldn’t purchase a flight ticket until your visa application is approved.
- Your application can be rejected when the information on documents are wrong.
- Your sponsors are expected to write a letter to prove they are responsible for your expenses during the duration of your stay.
Ireland Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Ireland student visa is for foreign students who intend to study Ireland.
- The student visa is valid for 90 days. You can apply for a study visa up to 3 months before your date of arrival to Ireland.
- If you intend to apply for a course study that will run more than three months, then you will have to apply for long stay Ireland visa only for a single entry.
- If you are visiting another state prior to travelling to Ireland, you must have the relevant visa for that state in your passport before applying for an Irish visa.
- You have to provide the Immigrant officer with two color passport-sized photographs valid not more than 6 months old
- A full copy of all previous and current passports will be required to process your visa application.
- However, you will have to provide a fully signed letter of application including your full contact details.

- Evidence showing any gaps in your educational history and grades would also be required.

- If you intend to apply for an Irish visa, you will have to show evidence that you have the academic ability to follow your chosen course.
- Applicants of a student visa need to provide proof of your fluency in English.
- A private Medical Insurance is required to indicate that your medical fees during your study stay is already covered.
- If you have been refused visa previously, an evidence will be required.
