Basic Travel Requirements for Vietnameses visiting Lithuania
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lithuanian Visa.
- A downloaded and filled visa application form
- Two passport-sized photos with a light background.
- A national passport and copies of your previous visas(if any) valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date
- Two blank pages of the passport for stamps.
- A travel medical insurance

Lithuania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is requested and issued to foreigners who intend to visit Lithuania for tourism purposes.
- A completely and sincerely filled visa application form is required.
- The Lithuania Schengen Visa application form can also be filed electronically and then printed out as hard-copies.
- A valid passport must be submitted and there should be copies of the passport as well.
- Two 35 x 45 mm passport-sized photos in color with a white background, not older than 6 months are required.
- A travel medical insurance with a confirmation of a minimum of 30,000 € coverage within Lithuania and other Schengen areas(if necessary) is mandatory.
- There should be a document that reflects the applicant's career or vocation in Vietnam.
- Foreigners who want to enter the territory of the Republic of Lithuania are expected to be in possession of at least 40€ per day. Hence, the applicant's bank statement should reflect that the applicant can support themselves for the duration of stay.
- An invitation letter from your family or friends in Lithuania with the address and phone number should be attached to the other necessary documents submitted.
- The signed application form must be accompanied by the mandatory documents requested at the embassy and submitted at Lithuania's representative in Vietnam.
- Documents reflecting applicant's ties with Vietnam are also necessary for the application process.
- It is advised not to purchase flight tickets before obtaining the visa except required by the embassy.
Lithuania Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to those who want to go to Lithuania for business purposes.
- A visa application form must be duly signed and submitted at the embassy.
- Your travel document (passport) should be valid for three months beyond your intended exit date from Lithuania.
- Two passport-sized photos in color, with a white background and not older than 6 months are required.
- The photo size should be 35 x 45 mm.
- An invitation letter from the Lithuanian company you will be visiting and their detailed address accompanied with the dates of your visit is required.
- If the applicant is employed, a certificate from their employer stating/allowing their business travel should be submitted.
- If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided.
- If self-employed, a copy of the applicant's business license is required.
- For both occasions, the Income Tax Return (ITR) of the company or business is to be submitted at the embassy.
- A bank statement issued by a credible bank and dating back 6 months before the application period is required. It must be stamped and signed by a bank official. In the absence of a bank account, proof of other assets has to be provided.
- Regarding the applicant’s expenses during stay in the Schengen zone, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation.
- Documents reflecting the applicant's confirmed accommodation provision should also be submitted.
Lithuania Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Foreigners who want to go to Lithuania for study purposes are required to get this visa.
- Applicants passports should be valid beyond their period of stay in Lithuania and should have been issued within the last 10 years.
- Two passport-sized photos in color with a white background, not older than 6 months are required. The photo size should be 35 x 45 mm.
- An enrollment certificate allowing attendance of courses should be acquired by the applicant and submitted to the embassy.
- A letter of sponsorship from the applicant's sponsor is required in the case where the applicant is on scholarship.
- A letter of admission confirmation in an institution in Lithuania is required at the embassy.
- Documents proving financial sustenance or support are necessary.

- A current bank statement of the employing company for the last 6 months might be required. It must be stamped and signed by a bank official.
- The employing company is expected to sign and submit a No-objection certificate.
- The Income Tax Return (ITR) form or Certificate of Income Tax deducted at the source of salary from the company of employment is also necessary.
- There should be accommodation provision and proof of it is to be submitted to the embassy.
