Basic Travel Requirements for Vietnameses visiting Morocco
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Moroccan Visa.
- A completed visa application form.
- Receipt of paid visa application fee.
- An original passport valid for at least 6 months after the intended stay in Morocco.
- Two identical photographs in a white background with size 40mm x 30mm.
- A photocopy of the passport pages indicating the applicant's identity.
- An original bank statement and other documents that prove financial stability.

General Requirements for Morocco Visa

Morocco Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- A tourist visa valid for 3 months is issued to applicants who want to visit Morocco for purposes such as visiting family, relaxation, business, and other short term activities.
- Applicants would be expected to submit a letter of invitation duly legalized and attested to by a family member in Morocco. This is if the applicant has a relative in the country.
- A guarantee covering medical and possible repatriation expenses would be requested.
- Applicants are advised to apply for a tourist visa at least 6 weeks in advance of the planned travel date so that there is enough time for the application procedure to be completed on time.
- Visitors who intend to stay for more than 90 days in the Kingdom of Morocco must request a permission to extend the duration of their stay.
- They must make the request at the nearest Police Precinct to their place of residence in Morocco.
- For travelers going into the country for conferences, an invitation from the entity that invites and organizes the event is required.
- For business travelers, a written invitation from an industrial, commercial or service operator should be submitted.
- Hosts are to prepare an invitation on behalf of the visa applicant in the case of participation in fairs and exhibitions from the organizing body of these events.
- There should be a recommendation from the appropriate ministry in the case of public business.
- The documents should also include a written recommendation from the professional chambers in the case of private markets.
- Minors accompanying their parents must provide the birth certificate and authorization letter made by one of the parents in case of not participate in family travel and certified by a notary.
Morocco Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to applicants who intend to get paid employment in Morocco.
- The entry application visa form to the Kingdom of Morocco should be completely and sincerely filled by the applicant.
- Applicants would also be requested to submit a residence permit or any document showing the proper address.
- You are required to have a contract of employment duly validated by the Ministry of Employment.
- There should also be an employment contract duly approved by the Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs.
- The hiring company is to get an invitation letter ready for the applicant including the full name of the applicant and the passport’s number.
Morocco Student, Trainee, Researcher Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa allows foreigners to carry out activities such as studying, researching and training in Morocco.
- For students, a certificate of enrollment and/or scholarship granted by the Moroccan Agency for International Co-operation (AMCI) for a public university or a private higher education Institute is required.
- In this case, the request for the visa must be subjected to the preliminary approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation except for the students enrolled at Major Moroccan schools approved by the proper Moroccan authority.
- The applicants must justify sufficient means of subsistence during their period of a university course (vigilance is recommended for fictitious support documents).
- A duly signed and legalized guarantor's promissory note should be provided by a close relative or someone who resides in Morocco.
- The guarantor should regularly reside in Morocco and must guarantee student’s accommodation and financial expenses.
- There must be a commitment to adjust their residency status, as a foreign student, with the competent authority at the General Directorate of National Security.
- There should be a commitment to cover the repatriation costs in case the student is expelled from the Moroccan territory.
- There should be a document that reflects the applicant's commitment to leave the territory of Morocco as soon as the validity of the residence permit expires.
- Trainees are expected to have an original copy of the internship agreement signed by the host organization.
- For researchers, the hosting agreement signed with an approved Moroccan research organization would be needed.

What kind of dressing is acceptable in Morocco?
People are allowed to dress however they want but women need to dress more conservatively. It is better to cover up as much as possible to avoid unwanted attention. When visiting mosques, you need to cover down to your wrists and ankles. For the ladies, it is better to have a shawl/scarf handy.
What currency is used in Morocco?
The Moroccan Dirham (DEE-Rahm) is the official currency used in Morocco. Dollars or Euros can also be exchanged in the country while credit cards can be also used for purchase. More established shops will take credit cards, but most smaller markets, street vendors, and cabs will not so you should be ready with the local currency.
What is the best time of the year to travel to Morocco?
The country is at its most beautiful in spring (mid-March to May) when the landscape is green and lush, making for spectacular mountain hiking. Morocco is also lovely in Autumn (September to October) when temperatures are very pleasant.
