Basic Travel Requirements for Zambians visiting Canada
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Canadian Visa.
- A Zambian international passport with a validity of over 6 months.
- You must be 18 years or older to apply for a visa.
- If you intend travelling with minors, they are to apply with you.
- All documents for submission are to be translated into English and verification of correct translation submitted.
- All the applications must be signed and dated correctly.
- You must provide two passport photographs that meet the Canadian Photo Requirement.
- Applicants are required to have a clean criminal record and have proof of this through a valid court document.
- A Proof of financial sustenance forthe entire duration of stay in Canada.

General Requirements for Canada Visa

Canada Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is for persons who wish to engage in business activities during their stay in Canada.
- The processing time for this visa is about 6 weeks and it allows its holder to stay for a maximum of 180 days in the country.
- This visa does not permit its holder to take up any forms of employment in the country.
- This visa type is of multiple entries.
- Proof that you plan to leave Canada at the end of your business dealings is to be provided.
- A letter of invitation from your business partner in Canada is to be provided.
- The company’s address and certificate of registration should be stated in the letter.
- Proof of a clean criminal record of the applicant is to be provided.
- Proof that you do not plan to enter the Canadian labour market during your stay is to be provided also.
- Bank statements of the applicant or the applicant's sponsor are to be provided.
Canada Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to persons who have the intention of studying in a Canadian institution of learning.
- The visa can pass for both a tourist visa and a study permit for students.
- This visa allows you to study at a Designated Learning Institution(DLI).
- Holders of this visa can stay in the country until they conclude their study programme.
- This visa allows its holder to work but not on every case.
- An acceptance letter from the institution the applicant is going to be studying in Canada is to be provided.
- Proof of payment of tuition fees and every other school charges is to be submitted.
- A transcript gotten from the applicant’s current school in Zambia or the last institution attended is to be provided for submission.
- The applicant is to write a letter stating why they will be going to Canada and why they have picked the particular institution of study.
- The letter is to be submitted alongside other requested documents.
- This visa allows multiple entries into the country.
Canada Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is for applicants who wish to visit Canada for tourism and leisure reasons.
- With this visa, you could also visit family and friends who are Canadian residents.
- This visa allows you to attend parties and ceremonies.
- Medical insurance valid for the applicant's entire duration of stay in Canada is to be provided
- A letter of invitation from the host is required if you are visiting a friend or relative.
- The letter should state the relationship between them and the applicant.
- The letter should also contain the host's address and contact numbers.
- Bank statements of the applicant or their sponsor is to be provided.
- Minors are to apply for this visa with their parent or guardian.
- This visa takes a maximum of 40 days to be processed.
- With this visa, you are allowed to travel around Canada for a period of not more than 6 months.
- You cannot stay in the country permanently and neither can you work or study.
- The visa allows its holder to entire the country several times within its validity.
