Basic Travel Requirements for Zambians visiting DR Congo

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Congolese Visa.


  • A correctly completed and duly signed visa application form.
  • An original Zambian passport with validity of at least 3 months from the period of exit from the country and two blank pages to affix visa stamps when issued. 
  • Two copies of the applicant's passport-sized(51mm x 51mm) photograph taken on a white background and not older than 3 months. 
  • A copy of their travel itinerary.
  • Valid travel insurance.
  • A bank statement of at least 3 months before the period of entry into the country. 
  • Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay in the country. 
  • A flight ticket with the entry and exit dates from DR Congo.  
  • Travel insurance with sufficient medical coverage for the intended duration of stay.
