How to get a Thailand visa from Zimbabwe

• The Thailand tourist visa is issued to foreigners who are visiting Thailand for sightseeing, tourism, personal enlightenment or other leisure activities.
• The tourist visa is also granted to Zimbabweans intending to travel to Thailand for medical purposes.
• Your Zimbabwean passport must be original and have a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your departure date from Thailand with at least 2 unused visa pages for entry and exit stamps.
• You need 1 passport-size photograph (3.5x4.5cm) taken against a white background and within the last 6 months.
• The Thailand tourist visa is valid for 30 or 60 days. It can, however, be extended for an additional 30 days.
• As proof that you intend to leave Thailand once your visa expires, you are required to provide a copy of your return ticket to your country of origin.
• It is mandatory for all applicants of a tourist visa to provide proof that they can cater to all their financial needs for the entire duration of their stay in Thailand. This proof should be in the form of a bank account statement of the latest 6 months showing a balance of the equivalent of at least 20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family.
• Travelers are advised to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Cholera, Yellow Fever, Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies, and Meningitis.
• You are required to provide proof of hotel or private accommodation for the entire duration of your stay in Thailand.
• If a minor is traveling to Thailand, they are to provide original and notarized copies of their birth certificate as well as a letter of consent from a parent who will not be traveling (or from both parents if the minor is traveling alone).

• Zimbabweans who intend to travel to Thailand to conduct business or work in Thailand are eligible to obtain a business visa. It is also known as a non-immigrant visa.
• You need an original Zimbabwean passport that has at least 2 unused pages and is valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the date you intend to leave Thailand.
• 2 passport-size photographs taken with a white background sometime within the last 6 months must be submitted with your completed application form.
• You must submit an official note issued by a partner company in Thailand (or your employer if you are traveling to work) certifying the purpose of your travel.
• You also need a business letter from your employer confirming the purpose of your travel and how long you intend to spend in Thailand.
• You are required to provide a copy of your employment contract stating your role in the company, your salary, and your qualifications. The letter must be signed by an authorized managing director and affixed the seal of the company.
• If you have previously worked in Thailand, you are to include a copy of the work permit issued to you by the Ministry of Labour.
• You are to submit a copy of your educational records and letters of recommendation from the prior employers, identifying the job description and length of service time if you intend to work in Thailand.
• You must provide a printed copy of your return flight ticket as proof that you intend to return to your country of origin once your visa expires.
• You must also provide proof of a hotel reservation in your name for the entire duration of your stay in Thailand.
• A copy of your most recent bank statements must be submitted as proof that you can cater to all your needs for the entire duration of your stay in Thailand. If your employer will be covering your expenses for the duration of your stay, you should provide a letter of guarantee from your employer to that effect.
• The Thailand business visa is a single-entry visa that is valid for 90 days. You can, however, apply for a multiple-entry visa that is valid for a year.
• If you are applying for a multiple-entry visa, your Zimbabwean passport must be valid for at least 18 months.

Foreigners entering Thailand are not permitted to work, regardless of the type of visa.
