Basic Travel Requirements for Algerians visiting Cameroon
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Cameroonian Visa.
- A passport with a validity of at least six (6) months.
- 1 recent Passport Size Photograph, 7cm X 5cm or 5cm X 4cm (with the name of the applicant on the back).
- An International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever. However, other vaccines and treatments for malaria are recommended.
- A flight ticket or reservation with the passenger(s) name showing entry and return dates.
- A letter of invitation or a certificate of accommodation by your host legalized by competent local Cameroonian administrative authority.
- Proof of means of subsistence: a signed copy of a bank statement indicating a minimum sum of 3000 dollars.
- Copy of marriage certificate or declaration of common-law union for persons who are married or in legal cohabitation.
- Parental authorization for children (ages 0 to 14 ) signed in front of a notary or a commissioner of oath / legalized by administrative authorities, if done in Cameroon.

- The Cameroon Tourist Visa is issued to Algerian nationals who are willing to visit the country for tourist purposes such as sightseeing, holidays, leisure, and adventures.
- The Visa is issued on Short-stay with the validity of 30 days at the cost of $93.00 for Single-entry Visa.
- The Single entry visa is processed within 7 working days.
- The Visa is also issued for Multiple entries with a validity of 90 days that costs $184.00.
- The Multiple Entry Tourist Visa is processed within 10 business days.
- Algerian travellers on the Camerounian Tourist Visa are expected to leave the country at or before the expiration of their stay in the country.
- The holder of the visa will not be liable to any form of employment whether paid or unpaid.
- A holder of this visa is with the purpose of staying in the country for a short period and are not expected to stay afterwards.
- Since the Cameroon Tourist Visa is usually processed within 7-10 business days for both Single and Multiple entry, delay may occur due to insufficient filling of the application form or as a result of invalid information.
- The Visa will not be issued to people carrying contagious diseases such as tuberculosis or any other airborne diseases.
Cameroon Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Business Visa is issued to Algerian nationals who are looking forward to conducting business in the country such as attending business meetings, conferences, and seminars.
- The Business Visa is processed within 7-10 working days to Algerian nationals who are traveling to the country for business purposes only.
- The Business Visa is of Single and Multiple entry types.
- The Single entry visa is processed within 8 business days while Multiple-entry Visa is processed within 10 business days.
- The Single entry visa is of two types which are Expedited and Standard single entry.
- The Expedited Single Entry Visa is charged $93.00 the same amount with Standard Single Entry Visa.
- While the Multiple entry visa is also Expedited and Standard Multiple-entry Visa.
- Both Expedited and Standard Multiple-entry visa for Algerian national who are applying for either of the visa cost $184.00 Consulate's price.
- The Algerian nationals are to know that the validity of Multiple entry both Standard and Expedited visa is 90 6months.
- Once this Business visa is issued to Algerian national, its recipient must enter Cameroon within ninety (90) days of the date of issuance.
- The granted visa will start counting, or will be valid for the duration (up to 30 days, 3 months, or 6 months) printed in the traveler’s passport as of the date of entry in Cameroon.
- After 90 days, a visa becomes void if it has not been used within that timeframe.
- Travelers finding themselves with a void visa and desiring to travel to Cameroon at a later time have to submit a whole new visa application including all the required documentation.
- For Multiple-entry visas, a traveler is allowed to re-enter, after exiting Cameroon the first time, only during the validity period remaining on the visa.
