Basic Travel Requirements for Algerians visiting Ireland
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Irish Visa.
- International Passport with at least 6months validity with two or more blank pages for visa sticker on your passport.
- Two current photograph-sized photos with white background.
- The photocopy of your passport full pages, like 1-32 pages must be produced.
- Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000.00 Euro.
- Bank account statement for the last 6months duly endorsed by the Bank.
- Police clearance certificate.
- Proof of hotel reservation you want to stay in Ireland or private accommodation from your person in Ireland.
- Photocopies of all previous visas in your passport.
- Evidence of flight bookings, indicating the airline, departure and arrival dates.
- Written statement for visiting.
- An under-age person traveling alone or accompanied by a guardian must present:
Original birth certificate
Consent letter from both parents
Attach the parent's identity card photocopy or data page of their passports
The visa application form must be signed by the guardian.

Ireland Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Citizens of Algeria are required to be in possession of an Irish transit visa when arriving at a port of entry in Ireland for the purposes of passing through a port (airport, seaport) in order to travel to another state.
- A transit visa does not permit Algerian citizens to enter Ireland for any purpose. It only permits you to transit through Ireland in order to reach your destination in another state.
- If the intention of Algerians are to leave the port at any stage, they must apply for a short stay visa in the normal way.
- Citizens of Algeria must have the relevant visa for your country of destination in your passport before applying for an Irish transit visa.
- There are Single and Multiple entries Transit Visa available for Algerian citizens.
- The visa 25 Euro for a single entry.
- People are required to provide Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000.00 Euro covering the whole of the Schengen area, as this visa grants you the advantage to travel into the Schengen states.
