Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting Montenegro

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Montenegrin Visa.

  • An Angolan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date containing 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
  •   A duly completed and signed visa application form.
  • If the applicant is a minor, both the parents are to sign a consent letter.
  • Three identical passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken on a white background.

Montenegro Short-stay Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  •  Citizens of Angola are to obtain a tourist short-stay visa to gain entry to Montenegro for tourist, business, personal and other purposes.  
  • With a Montenegro tourist short-stay visa holders are eligible to visit relatives, family and friends for a short period. 
  • The short-stay visa can be issued based on both individual and collective categories. 
  • Angolans with a  collective short-stay visa are allowed to stay for a maximum of 30 days in Montenegro. After 30 days, its validity expires.  
  • The short-stay visa has two types namely; single and multiple entry, which applicants can choose from. 
  • With the short-stay visa, Angolans can gain entry into Montenegro only once. 
  • The multiple-entry short-stay visa permits Angolans to gain entry into Rwanda more than once. 
  • The validity of the multiple -entry visa is up to a year. Hence, intending visitors can gain entry more than once within the one-year period. 
  • The visa allows Angolans to visit Montenegro for a short period of time.  Angolans cannot reside in Montenegro with a tourist short-stay visa. 
  • Angolans can stay in Montenegro for a maximum of 90 days in a six month period which starts from the first date of entry. 
  • Also, in some circumstances, this type of visa is issued for a maximum of five years.

Montenegro Long-stay Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The long-stay visa is issued to Angolans who intend to stay in Montenegro for business or any other trade or economic activities.   
  • Applicants of this type of visa should have the intention to visit Montenegro to provide advisory , expert activities as agreed on business and technical cooperation contract to be granted approval on their visa. 
  • The visa offers its holders the opportunity to work with long-term production cooperation, and transfer technologies and foreign investments.
  •  Angolans who intend to visit Montenegro to serve as a member of a foreign diplomatic and consular representative office to Montenegro or an international organization accredited to Montenegro are eligible for this type of visa. 
  • Holders of this long-stay visa should be members of an economic and cultural representative office, as well as to the members of his/her family, i.e. members of his/her household holding diplomatic or official passports.
  • People can apply for a long-stay visa for the sole purpose of taking up employment in Montenegro. 
  •  The long-stay visa allows its holders to participate in student exchange, training, and acquisition of practical skills. 
  • Angolans are allowed to take part in scientific-research work while in Montenegro under this type of visa. 
  • Angolans with a long-stay visa can receive medical treatment in Montenegro 
  • Applicants of this visa can decide to enrol in any recognized Montenegro secondary school to study. 
  • When granted entry into Montenegro with this type of visa,  holders can also engage in humanitarian  activities.
  • For any other justified reasons specified by law or international agreement,  Angolans can gain entry to Montenegro. 
  • The validity of a long-stay visa is for more than  90 days. 
  • The visa is sub-divided into single and multiple entry. 
  • Holders are allowed to gain multiple-entry into Montenegro between 90 days and six months in a one year period. 
  • If you are visiting for private or business reasons, you need to provide a letter of invitation or guarantee from your host or sponsor in Montenegro.
  • If you are coming on business, you need a letter of invitation issued by legal entity, state authority or the organizer of an international conference or event. The letter should state the purpose and duration of stay. 

Montenegro Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to  Angolans who want to make short stops to Montenegro 
  • With a Montenegro transit visa  Angolans can make one or more transits through Montenegro.
  • You are required to provide a copy of your return flight to your destination country. You are only granted entry when you can show evidence of your intended return to your home country. 
  • Applicants are expected to present a visa to the destination country at the embassy too. 
  • The validity is for six months. 
  • With the transit visa you can stay in Montenegro for up to 5 days each time you gain entry. 
  • You can only be granted this visa if there is a proof  that you can legally enter your destination country. 
  • This transit can be issued on the basis of both individual and collective groups.
