Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting Solomon Islands

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Solomon Islander Visa.

  • Original Angola passport is valid for 6 months after exiting from the Solomon Island.
  • The passport should have one blank page for the entry stamp.
  • A copy of the visa application form should be correctly filled and signed.
  • One recent passport-size photograph taken with a plain background displaying neutral expression.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay in the country. This may be in the form of a bank statement which should not be older than 3 months from the period of application.
  • Under-aged applicants are required to provide a copy of the birth certificate and parent’s signed note of approval.
  • Valid travel insurance which covers medical insurance.
  • Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Return or onward ticket showing that the applicant has intentions of returning to Angola.

Solomon Islands Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Business visa is granted to foreigners that intend to partake in business activities in Solomon Island.
  • Business visa permits visitors to attend conferences, business meetings, and sales activities in Solomon Island. 
  • Proof of prior business transactions between the applicant and host company in Solomon Island is required.
  • Letter of invitation from the host company that includes name and contact information of the company, place, purpose, and duration of stay is required.
  • It should also be stated in the letter of invitation if the business partner will be responsible for the applicant financially throughout the duration of stay in Solomon Island.
  • Letter from the employer in Angola stating that the employer is aware of applicant business leave is required.
