Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting Solomon Islands

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Solomon Islander Visa.


  • Original Angola passport is valid for 6 months after exiting from the Solomon Island.
  • The passport should have one blank page for the entry stamp.
  • A copy of the visa application form should be correctly filled and signed.
  • One recent passport-size photograph taken with a plain background displaying neutral expression.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay in the country. This may be in the form of a bank statement which should not be older than 3 months from the period of application.
  • Under-aged applicants are required to provide a copy of the birth certificate and parent’s signed note of approval.
  • Valid travel insurance which covers medical insurance.
  • Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Return or onward ticket showing that the applicant has intentions of returning to Angola.
  • Copy of travel itinerary showing travel details, entry and exit from Solomon Island.

The Solomon Islands is a sovereign state consisting of six major islands and over 900 smaller islands. The country is well known for its islands, beach resorts, and beautiful scenery. Scuba-diving destinations are accessible in almost all parts of the country. The gigantic Marovo Lagoon and Iron Bottom Sound are two of the more popular destinations for scuba-diving.
