Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting Switzerland

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Swiss Visa.


  • Passport with a validity of at least six months from the period of exiting the country.
  • The passport must contain two blank pages for the visa entry stamp.
  • Correctly filled and signed visa application by the applicant.
  • Two copies of identical passport photographs taken with a white background.
  • The photographs must not be older than 6 months.
  • Original bank statements covering the last six months prior to the period of a visa application should be provided.
  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of the stay in Switzerland.
  • Proof of accommodation or hotel organization throughout the period of stay in Switzerland.
  • Copy of return flight ticket showing that the applicant will be returning to Angola after the visa expires is required.
  • Travel itinerary showing travel details, arrival and departure date from Switzerland.
  • Proof of civil status or nationality as an Angolan citizen.
