How to get a Taiwan visa from Angola

• The Taiwan tourist visa is issued to Angolans traveling to Taiwan for tourism purposes.
• The applicant is required to have an onward/return air/ferry ticket and a visa for that destination.
• The applicant must provide proof of accommodation (or host/sponsor’s contact information or arrangements of tour, travel, visit, events and meeting etc.) in Taiwan.
• A visitor's visa lasts between 15 to 90 days (depending on your home country). So long as it does not contain the wording “No extension”, it may be able to be renewed another two times in Taiwan, for a maximum length of 180 days.
• Taiwan’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends travelers to Taiwan be vaccinated against Hepatitis A.
• Travelers are required to declare cash amounts over 100,000 New Taiwan Dollars (TWD), foreign currencies over 10,000 USD, or over 20,000 Chinese Yuan (RMB) upon entry.
• Taiwan shows no leniency for medical or recreational marijuana. Carrying or shipping marijuana into Taiwan is prosecuted as drug trafficking.
• Taiwan has strict regulations on importing/exporting firearms, other weapons, drugs, antiquities, currency, ivory & other animal products, fruits & plants, and many other items.
• To detect and prevent the spread of diseases, Taiwan scans the body temperature of all arriving passengers with an infrared thermal apparatus.
• Public transportation is cheap, convenient, and generally safe. Taxis and buses may swerve to the side of the road to pick up passengers with little notice or regard for other vehicles.
  

• Angolans can apply for the Taiwan business visa if they have the intention of traveling to the country for business purposes.
• Certificate of business name registration and SEC registration must be provided.
• Applicants is required to provide a certificate of employment (if employed).
• Invitation letter from Taiwanese company/organization in Chinese letterhead clearly outlining purpose of visit and duration of stay must also be provided.
• Request letters from applicant’s company is required.
• Taiwan is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for foreign direct investment (FDI) as businesses from around the world.
• A signed letter of invitation (this must include a copy of the inviter’s ARC or ID – front and back. Expired ARCs will not be accepted.

• The Taiwan work visa is issued to Angolans who have the intention of taking up paid employment in Taiwan.
• A letter of employment from your future employer in Taiwan should be submitted. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and should state the address of the company.
• The employment contract stating the terms of employment signed by both the employer and the employee should be provided.
• A proof from your employer that you will not be offered below the minimum wage paid to other Taiwanese.
• Your employer should provide proof that there was no Taiwanese willing to take up the job you were offered.
• Applicants without the right qualification that matches the job they have been offered in Taiwan will not be issued this visa.
• If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required. A letter of consent signed by both parents is also required.
• Receipt of the paid visa application form must be provided.
• Applicants are required to provide a police criminal certificate, this must show a clean criminal record.
