Application requirements
Documents Angolan applicants need to provide.
- Angolan passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date.
- The passport must have 2 blank pages for the visa stamp.
- Duly completed and signed visa application form.
- The parents or legal guardians are required to sign the visa application form if the applicant is a minor.
- Three passport-size photographs (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) taken on a white background.
- The travel document must be completely provided.
- Bank statement showing proof of financial capability.
- Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations in Yemen is required.
- Copy of return flight ticket showing that the applicant will return to Angola upon the expiration of the visa.
- Documentation showing the applicant’s ties to the home country.
- A police report showing the applicant does not have any criminal record in Angola.
- Medical insurance that covers the duration of stay is highly recommended.
- Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.

Tourist visa
- The Yemen tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting Yemen for the purpose of sightseeing, vacation or relaxation.
- Applicants' passport with a validity of not less than 6 months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted.
- The passport should have at least two blank pages for the Yemen visa stamp and should not have an Isreali visa stamp on it.
- A letter of invitation from the host in Yemen addressed to the Yemen embassy is required.
- The letter should clearly state the purpose of the applicant's travel, the duration of intended stay, names of places to be visited, and contact information of the host in Yemen is required.
- If the host is a tour organization in Yemen, details of the tour, and duration of the tour trip should be indicated in the letter of invitation.
- Applicants under the age of 18 years are required to submit the original copy of their birth certificate, indicating the names of both their parents. A letter of consent signed by both parents is also required.
- Applicants are to provide a bank statement of not less than three months to the period of application of visa. This is proof of sufficient funds for the required duration of stay.
- Proof of hotel reservation and flight itinerary (flight ticket and destination passes).
- Proof of visa application fee is required.
- Certificates of vaccination an immunization serving as proof that the applicant is free from any communicable disease and yellow fever.
- Holders of a tourist visa are not required to study, wok or engage in any business activities in Yemen.
Business visa
- Yemen's business visa is issued to applicants who intend to travel to Yemen for business purposes.
- Applicants are to have a valid passport with at least six months' validity from the proposed date of travel.
- Applicants are to submit two passport photographs taken against a white background.
- Letter of invitation written on the host company’s letterhead and this should contain the applicant’s passport number, status in the company, and the purpose of the visit to Yemen.
- The letter of invitation must be issued and approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yemen.
- A copy of the Business Registration Certificate should be submitted to the embassy.
