How to get a Germany visa from Botswana

• Germany issues a tourist visa to individuals who want to travel for pleasure and recreational purposes.
• This visa is a Schengen visa and grants a stay of 90 days to travellers.
• You are required to provide proof of hotel accommodation in Germany for the entire duration of your stay, such as a confirmed hotel booking clearly showing the name and contact details of the hotel.
• If you will be staying with a friend or relative, the address and contact details of the host should be submitted.
• All travellers must have at least €105 ($117) to spend per day. This will serve as proof to the Consular Officer that the individual can afford the trip.
• Your German host will also be required to write an invitation letter stating the relationship between the applicant and host, duration and purpose of the trip.
