Serbia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Individuals who intend to visit Serbia for tourism or leisure can apply for this visa.
- This visa is also known as a Type C visa and is issued for short stay visits.
- A Serbian short-stay visa is valid for 180 days but the individual can stay for a maximum period of 90 days.
- A tourist visa can also be used for visitations, attending ceremonies and festivals.
- When travelling for tourism, you would be required to present a tourist voucher or other form of payment issued by a travel agency.
- Travelling minors are to submit a letter of authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
- The application form should be filled carefully and in BLOCK LETTERS.
- Applicants are to have an accommodation reservation valid for the visa application process.
- If you would be staying with a relative, the personal details of the host would be required.
- An international certificate of vaccination or proof that the individual does not have any contagious disease is required.
- Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay in Serbia should be presented. Sufficient funds are considered to be 50 Euros per day for the duration of the stay.
- Health insurance valid for the period of stay in Serbia worth a minimum of 20,000 Euros is required.
- Visa fees are to be paid before the application can be completed and the fees are non-refundable.
- You will not be admitted into any institution of learning with this visa neither would you be gainfully employed.
- Applicants are to ensure they have a clean criminal record to increase the chances of obtaining a visa.
- On arrival in Serbia, border authorities may ask to inspect your tourist voucher and other documents before admission into the country.
Serbia Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to Botswanans who intend to engage in business activities in Serbia.
- Business visa is also a Type C short-stay visa and is allows a stay of 90 days.
- Individuals can be issued a single-entry, double-entry or multiple-entry visa.
- The single-entry visa allows for just one entry into the Republic of Serbia, double-entry allows two entries and multiple-entry allows an individual several entries into Serbia while the visa is valid.
- The single and double-entry visas are valid for 180 days while the multiple-entry type can be issued with a validity of up to one year.
- All applicants are to have a valid medical travel insurance worth at least 20,000 Euros.
- Visa fee for type C visa is €60 but if your application is submitted via posts then an additional €30 will be required to cover return postal costs.
- For individuals travelling in groups, the fees are different. The first member of the group would pay 60 Euro while every other person pays 3 Euro. Each applicant must provide all the requested documents.
- An official invitation from the host company in Serbia stating the type of business to be conducted, duration of the visit, name and address of the company and the sponsor of the trip would be required.
- If the applicant is representing a company in the business trip, a letter from the pertinent company is also required.
- Employed persons would have to submit a letter from their current employer stating the position of the applicant in the company and that the applicant would return to the job at the end of the trip.
- Individuals who intend to spend over 90 days in the Republic of Serbia would have to apply for a temporary stay visa while in Serbia.
